iStudio for TikTok
iStudio is a social-media scheduler. It publishes your own video to your own TikTok profile — the same as posting from the TikTok app, just scheduled from one place alongside your other accounts.
How it works
- Connect TikTok. In iStudio you click “Connect TikTok” and authorize on TikTok’s own consent screen. You choose what to allow; iStudio never sees your password.
- Compose a post. Pick one video, write a caption, and set the audience and interaction options (comments, duet, stitch) shown in iStudio’s TikTok panel.
- Direct Post. iStudio uploads the video straight to your TikTok profile via the Content Posting API — there is no draft to finish in the app.
- Find it on TikTok. The video appears on your profile (and in TikTok Studio → Posts). While iStudio’s TikTok app is still under review it posts privately (“Only you”).
Permissions iStudio requests
iStudio requests only the two permissions it needs, and nothing more:

Reads only your open id, display name and avatar, so iStudio can show which TikTok account you connected. Nothing is ever posted with this permission.
Post content to TikTok video.publish · Content Posting API
Direct Post: uploads the video you chose to your profile with the caption you wrote. This is the only action iStudio performs on TikTok.
What iStudio does not do
- It does not use
video.upload(that scope only appears because it is bundled in the Content Posting API product — iStudio uses Direct Post only). - It does not read your videos, followers, comments, or analytics.
- It does not post anything you did not create and submit yourself.
- It only ever touches the TikTok account you connect, when you ask it to.
Your data
iStudio stores the access token for the account you connect (encrypted) so it can publish on your behalf, and removes it when you disconnect. See our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Data Deletion pages.
